Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: What a week it was!!!

The Ides of March are continuing to wreak havoc this year.

In fact, as bad has been the carnage that has wreaked upon NCAA basketball tournament brackets, such can’t top other havoc inflicted this past week.

Not only do things continue stormy for the White House, news broke badly this week for the First Son and who has apparently been caught following in father’s footsteps.

And the hits will surely continue care of this weekend’s broadcast of 60 Minutes given that former adult video performer Stormy Daniels will be its featured interview.

Then again, it must be noted that CBS played it safe by having Anderson Cooper do her interview.

In the meanwhile on the state level, the hits keep on hitting the Massachusetts State Police.

The latest of many things that have recently hit the fan for staties is apparent irregularities with overtime pay.

Who do they think they are – the Quincy Police Department?

And speaking of criminal misdeeds in Quincy, multiple reports have it that things got a little out of hand after Quincy’s annual so-called St. Patrick’s Day Roast.

After purportedly using a sink in the kitchen to relieve himself, a barely 50-something County Commissioner and one-time carpet-bagging Quincy City Councilor apparently took umbrage over comments made as he stumbled out of the kitchen after apparently relieving himself in a sink and then sucker-punched a septuagenarian ex-Boston cop.

With The Clash of the Ash now shuttered, one could have reasonably assumed that such unholy St. Patrick’s misbehavior in the Q would have so moderated but apparently not.

Instead, the sucker-puncher is now staring at an expected – if not also widely anticipated – magistrate hearing in Quincy District Court.

While currently uncertain if enhanced charges of elder abuse are also in play, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to endeavor to find out.
