Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Democrat, New York) was caught on a hot mic on the senate floor discussing President Trump with some of his aides in the wake of his attending a recent intimate White House working dinner with the President.

 

“He likes us,” Schumer said. “He likes me, anyway.”

 

Apparently Senator Schumer has forgotten President Harry Truman’s sage admonition: “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.”
