Trump to dump Boston Chowder from Presidential Inauguration Galas.

 

Multiple news services have reported that President-elect Donald Trump will be ending the long ongoing tradition of serving Legal Sea Foods ™ chowder at this year’s Presidential inauguration events.

 

While Legal’s chowder has been a bipartisan inauguration menu item dating back to President Ronald Reagan’s first inauguration in 1980, it would appear that perhaps President-elect Trump has a grudge against either anything from Massachusetts or perhaps Legal Sea Foods ™ Chief Executive Officer Roger Berkowitz over his brilliant but unsuccessful ad campaign last year as a write-in candidate for President of the United States.

 

Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Republican Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker for comment about this snub of the Commonwealth, but then figured that Charlie was probably already in hotter water than a lobster in a Legal’s kitchen with the soon to be President.
