Gloucester Police Chief fired over cellphone mischief.

While the particulars are still less than complete, the Chief of the Gloucester Police Department was dismissed over allegations of misuse of his department cellphone as well as deleting apparently a number of assumed to be incriminating items from that phone’s memory.

One thing that is known is that at least one female who had been in what is said to be a personal relationship with the Chief which would appear to have gone south appears to have somehow or other been involved in an unknown number of the as yet unspecified items that were allegedly deleted from the Chief’s work phone cellphone.

The dismissal of the Chief is further problematic as he was just recently honored at an event at the White House over his launching of the Gloucester Police Department’s successful “Angel Program” to help addicts enter into treatment programs if they come to the police department to surrender their drugs as well as are ready to seriously pursue a treatment program.

Given that the Gloucester Police Chief is obviously not going to respond to any questions at this time, much less any from anyone among the news media, Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to the Braintree Police Department comment given the various media reports of arguable evidence tampering in Gloucester, but those tied to Braintree Police Department who might be able to offer germane comment are no longer working at the Braintree Police Department.

Quincy Quarry then considered reaching out to the Quincy Police Chief for comment until it was decided that he too probably would not take any questions from the media given recent local events as well as widely expected additional ones.

Regardless, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to monitor events and then exposé those which might be of interest to its ever-growing legions of loyal readers.
