MBTA Commuter rail woes continue into evening commute.
Quincy Quarry did not make anything of this morning’s collapse of MBTA Commuter Rail Service as, well, the T is the T, but when problems continued into the evening commute, the Quarry was behooved to pile on the T, especially as there has been no word if the alleged problems with Amtrak’s signalling system that are said to have mucked up today’s commute will continue muck things up during tomorrow’s commute.

In the meanwhile, one media report has it that only two commuter trains will be heading out of South Station during today’s evening commute.
As such, all MBTA commuters – whether they ride trains, the subways, buses or even ferries – are advised to check the MBTA’s online service alert site first thing in the morning so that they can plan accordingly.
