As Quincy Quarry’s epidemiological desk has warned for weeks, Quincy was on track for moving into COVID-19 Red Zone and it did so when the Quarry projected. Not expected, however, was that Quincy would do so in such dramatic fashion.

After weeks of Quincy Quarry repeatedly pointing out that Quincy was experiencing a second COVID-19 surge and so again ending up on the COVID-19 Yellow Zone risk list as well as is now on track to likely soon be moved into the Red Zone, Mayor Koch finally acknowledged that the Q is Q’ed.
With Quincy’s positive test rate increased by over a third from last week and now running 3.57%, Quincy is verging on the 4% positive test rate which will push it into a COVID-19 Red Zone risk rating.
