The first Quincy City Council meeting after its months’ long summer recess was hit with a sizeable protest over its approval late last spring of an 89% raise for Quincy Mayor Koch as well as 50% raises for themselves that were not approval per a local ordinance.
This week’s primary elections results are in and all Quincy challengers lost in their bids to move up the political food chain.
The long troubled MBTA continues to make life miserable for straphangers via derailing maintenance cars as well as for others otherwise.
Needless to say, surely the District Attorney was not amused that the weather did not head off protesters.
