One can only assume that things are bad in Boston when the New York Times deigns to report on a problem in Boston.
One would think that the federal indictments for double dipping and other payroll scamming by troopers mostly at the now former Troop E barracks would encourage good behavior across the boards by troopers. If one did so, one would be wrong.
Conversely, no word out of Quincy Public Schools as to any possible rollback from in-person learning as Quincy looks to soon be perhaps soon be hit with a COVID-19 Red Zone rating by the end of month given steady increases in local infections.
While admitted infection rates have not returned to the levels of earlier this year, local COVID-19 cases continue to increase towards Red Zone status.
