Mayor Koch was found by Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Kimberly Budd to be woefully mistaken in his belief that the City of Quincy owned the Adams Academy building.
The diss was done in a way that many local homeowners are familiar with suffering given the way that city operated or contracted snowplows wall off their driveways and especially so all but invariably after local homeowners have shoveled out their driveways.
In Mayor Koch’s apparently first public statement about Quincy flipping into COVID-19 Code Red risk last Thursday, the mayor downplayed things. In fact, he failed to specifically note the fact that Quincy just crossed over into COVID-19 Red Zone status.
While many turned off the water supply to their outside water lines to head off freeze damage during the current cold snap of cold to hard freeze weather, the maintenance crew for Quincy’s City Hall and two other nearby water fountains inexplicably remain vulnerable to freeze damage.
So far, however, no word of any fatalities among any of the elected officials.
