The New Year in Quincy featured a second apparent untoward incident on Friday roughly eight hours after a midday stabbing per the diligent monitoring of the cold and mean streets of Quincy by Quincy Quarry News’ tireless Citizen Police Scanner Monitor.

The scanner monitor also latter happened upon at least a dozen unmarked vehicles with flashing blue police flights and even more plain clothes wearing likely federal agents who looked to be wrapping up an operation on a side street that intersects the Fore River Bridge rotary.

Unfortunately, however, details are scarce so far on this latter law enforcement response and Quincy Quarry is thus working the story.and will report further as might be appropriate.

Returning to the Friday’s incident, it turned out to be more serious than the midday still serious incident.

Specially, a Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit (“SPDU”) was called to the scene of the second incident and SPDU’s pretty much only roll for suspected incidents of homicide, a few other sorts of comparable unnatural fatalities, sexual assaults and other serious assault and battery incidents.

Unfortunately, details on where this second likely untoward death in Quincy in less than three weeks occurred, however, was not heard by the Quarry’s Citizen Police Scanner Monitor for reasons including that radio chatter about this incident moved over to a private channel.

At best, the Quarry’s Citizen Police Scanner Monitor picked up word that a Quincy police cruiser typically working North Quincy and potentially covering West Quincy was providing local police security of the fatal scene.

Even so, Quincy Quarry will continue to work the story and follow up with further coverage as might be in order.
