Mostly cold and often snowy winter weather in recent days notwithstanding, things are heating up in the Q.

So much so that Quarry personnel have been tasked with playing catch up over the three day Presidents Day holiday weekend.

As for already covered news, events include the following examples from among many.

Way too many as a matter of fact.

First up on Monday night, a said to be belligerent drunk allegedly shot up a popular Quincy Point restaurant just up a side street from 1000 Southern Artery and so resulted in a major rollout of first responders to the scene with word of this breaking badly bad news© apparently as well as exclusively broken by Quincy Quarry News.

Fortunately — as well as amazingly, no one was seriously injured.

Such was especially fortuitous as Quincy Quarry News later also exclusively reported that the purported perp with a handgun was taken down and disarmed by a Citizen Take Down Team with the lead of this small security team a retired Quincy police detective.

Even more impressive was hitting for the cycle given word of a Quincy police officer bagging a traffic violation offender.

In fact, apparently two drivers were called out for a double header running of a red light..

Will wonders ever cease on the mean, cold and soon to again snowy streets of the Q?

Not likely, especially as of late it would appear that things curious have been increasing as well as often only not in a good way.
