Quincy Massachusetts News, Opinion, and Commentary by Quincy Quarry News
After a surprising run of no (known, ed.) house whackings in Quincy, earlier this week a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard word of a house whacking along Quincy Avenue in the vicinity of somewhat recently rebranded local dining fav Gennaro & Son and Kan Man Foods.
Apparently on Wednesday morning an Amazon delivery truck was perhaps hustling along a bit too aggressively to deliver Black Friday as well as Cyber Monday orders as it apparently whacked a house.
While such a Prime whacking is a new one in Quincy, such is not the first time such has happened elsewhere.
In any event, in this instance the Quincy Fire Department dispatched multiple firetrucks to the scene and only can only assume that such was done in a abundance of caution as many of Amazon’s delivery trucks are electric vehicles and thus their batteries pose additional risk in the event of a crash.
Fortunately, no police radio chatter was heard that things went ugly south at the crash scene.
Above and beyond the crash damage, that is.
