Thanksgiving dining is generally popular.
Cooking a Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings, however, often not so much.
As such, for those who do not care to cook but do want something more than a convenience store cold case saran-wrapped turkey sandwich there are still a few options, however fleeting.
The South Shore broadsheet ran a Thanksgiving dining out feature that listed half a dozen restaurants that were not fully booked as of publication time with two of them in Quincy.
One Quincy restaurant is in Marina Bay and it will be featuring a buffet and a waterfront view. It also begins serving at noon for those who want to gorge on watching football games afterwards. A reservation link is provided.
And the other Quincy option is near the Quincy Police Department headquarters. This venue will be offering a variety of dishes at reasonable prices including a very modestly-priced child’s plate. Again, a reservation link is provided.
The broadsheet also provided a listing of which major chain fast or quick food purveyors will be open on Thanksgiving Day for those who just cannot stomach a convenience store sliced turkey sub.
