Saturday night a drive-by shooting from a car into other car went down around 11 pm in the vicinity of Furnace Brook Parkway and Copeland Street in West Quincy.
The car shot- up subsequently crashed in the vicinity of 240 Willard Street in West Quincy and thus near the original Home Depo store in Quincy.
Police found the passenger unharmed outside of the crashed car..
Unfortunately, the driver was both struck by multiple gunshots well as trapped in the wrecked ride.
Quincy firefighters thus had to break out the “jaws of life” so as to be able to extract the victim so that he could then be transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment for said to be serious injuries.
At this time, Quincy Quarry has no further information about the condition of the driver, however, the Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on it to continue to follow the story and report updates as might be appropriate.
In the meanwhile, the Quincy Police Department has announced that an investigation is active and ongoing. Police believe that the victims were targeted and thus the public is most likely not in danger.
