Derailed yet again. In fact, derailed twice

The long troubled MBTA continues to make life miserable for straphanngers via derailing maintenance cars as well as for others otherwise.

That and stabbings — well — keep happening in Quincy.

The latest myriad problems involving the MBTA included the oh so ironic not just once but twice derailing of track maintenance cars over the past week.

Fortunately, there was a bright side — of a sort anyway.

The ostensible bright side?

Given considerable practice as well as typically relying on private companies, alternative bus service was implemented in relatively good order.

At same time, misery continued for homeless migrants who were for several days again left to camp out on the ground at the Wollaston Red Line station.

This was the second time migrants said to have legal status were stuck with camping outside on the pavement at Wollaston station.

Fortunately, considerable adverse media coverage surely pressed Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey to see these homeless migrants bused to a shelter undisclosed as well as all but assuredly nowhere in Quincy much to Quincy Mayor Tom Koch’s relief.

Speaking of disconcerting problems in Quincy, earlier this week there was word of an alleged stabbing in front of City Hall during the evening commute.

I’m gonna cut you sucker!

No idea at this time, however, if the suspected perp is a frustrated MBTA passenger or perhaps a hard-pressed local property taxpayer.
