Summertime and the dining is easy!

Today is a National Day daily double for two favorite food treats: peach pie and waffles!

When it is harvest season few things brighten a dinner menu or as just a simple treat, it is tough to top a freshly baked peach pie.

That and maybe add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, especially when a pie is hot out of the oven!

And as for the other National Day food treat today is National Waffle Day!

Topped with butter and maple syrup, blueberries, strawberries, blueberries and strawberries topped with whipped cream or even chicken, anytime is the right time for waffles!
