— News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News with commentary added
Early this afternoon a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard word of a Quincy Police Hybrid Cruiser shutting down on Morton Street just off of Common Street near the West Quincy fire station as well as surely but coincidentally also near Donut King.
Apparently, the EV cruiser “just stopped working” and thus at this point Quincy Quarry cannot report if the EV cruiser ran out of both gasoline and battery charge or if something else shutdown the cruiser.
Even so, Quincy Quarry News’ ever-growing legions of readers can count on the Quarry to continue to follow this breaking story and report updates as appropriate.
Maybe the city should consider going back to good old-fashioned foot patrols. At least those don’t have batteries that conk out at the worst possible moment. Or better yet, they can start a fundraiser for some reliable horses. Maybe a horse and buggy would be a better fit for Quincy’s state-of-the-art law enforcement strategy. Kudos to the Quincy PD for keeping things interesting!
Kelly,
My close relationship with one horse in particular notwithstanding, there is already enough horse manure spewing out of City Hall and no way should a noble horse end up blamed for it.
