On a muggy July Sunday morning when many of the few up as well as out and about are the faithful, things were not quiet at the CVS on Southern Artery in Quincy Point.
This morning shortly before 10 am Quincy Quarry News’ senior Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard word on the Quincy Police radio channel that someone had threatened a CVS employee — perhaps a pharmacist — with a gun.
No word was heard if the purported gun toter managed to steal anything but the radio chatter noted that the individual was said to have said that he was going to blow his head off as he fled the scene.
Fortunately, Quincy Police found the individual within not all that many minutes after word of the incident went out on the police’s radio channel but had not found the purported gun.
Further, no significant chatter was heard by the Quincy Police Scanner Monitor as regards the individual or if the purported piece was sequentially found.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry News’ ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to follow this story and report updates as might be appropriate.
Thanks for ALL the news in Quincy, MA. I live in Quincy Point & you never hear this NEWS on the television. THANKS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Means the world to residents!!! Sincerely,
