After no official heatwaves in Greater Boston last year, a three day heatwave is expected to wrap up today according to forecasts on the first day of summer.
Not a day too soon for the weather to cool towards seasonal norms BTW as tomorrow Boston will be hosting a Duck Boat Parade for the Boston Celtics, the 2024 NBA Champions as well as the most championship winning franchise in hoops.
Hundreds of thousands are expected to pack the parade route from the TD Garden to the Hynes Convention Center near Copley Square.
In turn, first responders are surely wiping the sweat on their brows from sweating with less hot weather now forecast for tomorrow.
Hopefully Quincy voters will remain heated from the rise in temperature and remember the rise in salaries implemented by City Counselors and our esteemed Mayor for themselves without public input the next time they enter the voting booth.
