No More Hop To The Quincy IHop

As a result of Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s latest multiple million dollar eminent domain land taking, the only local IHOP restaurant has so been forever shutdown.

In turn, those craving sweet breakfast concoctions more a large dessert than a meal as well as featuring bacon are looking at one less local option to iced coffee and a Boston cream to go from one of Quincy’s many Dunkies.

Further troubling, the Wheelhouse Diner is set to close mid-month given a long ongoing landlord/tenant dispute.

Fortunately for Quincy’s arguably best-known gourmand, his apparently favorite spot for campaign fund expensed “working” workday time meals is still in operation.

Unfortunately for the gourmand, the very same place is a Quincy Quarry News’ favorite for holding its “bored” and “staph” meetings and thus sure indigestion-inducing for the gourmand.

In any event, if one wants to go to The Hop, Quincy locals are looking at having to go on a road trip and thus just like all Quincy locals have to do if they need to go to a hospital.
