Technically, boat dock floats appear to be heading to Quincy Bay.
Care of a dime dropped Quincy Quarry News’ way, the Quarry was advised that people variously tied to the Quincy High School Vocational Technology program are building new floats for a boat dock.
All sort of projects are typically done by the vocational technology program for practical experience with the work done gratis as a manner of community service.
Where this project becomes interesting is and and where the dock floats are said to end up used: by a private yacht club along Wollaston Beach.

After all, one does not think of the yachting community as one prime for benefiting from a community service initiative.
Per the Quincy’s source, however, there is perhaps an explanation even if not also a compelling justification.
The purported rationale: the head of the City of Quincy Public Buildings Department is surely but coincidentally an active member of the yacht club said be scoring new dock floats for chump change.
