Shortly before 1 pm today, a van struck struck a pedestrian along Copeland Street in West Quincy.
While details picked up by a Quincy Quarry Citizen Police Scanner Monitor were scarce, what is known that the van won as the pedestrian suffered legs injuries.
How seriously injured, however, was not clear.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to do its best to follow up on this latest pedestrian whacking and then report updates as might be appropriate.
And the mayor has refused yo discuss the work of IMMAD. Federally funded to research impairment and driving.
100 emails/telephone calls ignored. 25 in person visits and he refuses to discuss advancing the business in Quincy.
Denise,
FYI: Mayor Koch only plays if one pays into his campaign fund.
The van may have won round one, but let’s see how the driver fares in round two.
Technically, more likely the van driver’s insurance company, but point taken.
Looks like we’ve got another case of Man versus Van. Who would’ve thought that a metal behemoth would outmatch a fragile human body? It’s like watching a toddler challenge a sumo wrestler to a wrestling match utterly predictable and slightly tragic. Maybe instead of blaming the van, we should start a campaign to educate humans on the perils of attempting to challenge vehicles to a duel. But hey, at least the van gets to boast about its undefeated record in the mean streets of wherever this happened. Better luck next time, human maybe aim for a more reasonable opponent, like a hamster.
