For a bit of a change, things were relatively quiet in Quincy this past week.
By Quincy standards anyway.
The three featured Quincy Quarry stories of the week opened with the Quarry’s coverage of City of Quincy Presidents Day activities.
Presidents Day activities that inexplicably included multiple performances of a dinosaur show inside of the Church of the Presidents, multiple Birds of Prey presentations in Old City Hall as well as a concert by a U2 tribute band in a tent, among other non-presidential sorts of activities.
In short, Only in Quincy©.
Next up, a Quincy Quarry News exclusive scoop: on Thursday a Quincy police officer happened upon three non-responsive individuals in an apartment on Sea Street in the Adams Shore neighborhood..
Needless to say, the Quarry is continuing to work this story as best it can as well as follow up as appropriate.
And finally, a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Photojournalist bagged a couple of City of Quincy workers slacking on the job.
Even by the standards of at least certain City of Quincy departments.
In short, as well as yet again: Only in Quincy©.
