Open season on pedestrians by motor vehicle drivers in Quincy continues.

Quincy Quarry’s senior Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard words of not just one but two pedestrian strikes Friday evening.

One strike was along Washington Street at South Street and so gave rise to a police-implemented and then operated detour of vehicular traffic.

The other strike occurred elsewhere at a venue that was not heard by the monitor.
