The New Patriots final game of the season was a sloppy and snowy affair at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough today with the Patriots coming up short in a 17 to 3 loss to the New York Jets.
Adding insult to injury, the Jets win broke their fifteen game losing streak to the Patriots, a now-former streak dating back to November 27, 2016.
The only bright point is that the New England Patriots are still in the hunt to score the second pick in the 2024 draft if the similarly woeful Washington Commanders can upset the Dallas Cowboys in their mutual season finale later today.
Either way, the odds are all but certain that six-time Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick looks to be facing an end to his storied stint with the Patriots.
