Quincy Quarry News personnel out shopping at a local supermarket for supplies for the Quarry’s break room noticed on the back of the sales receipt promotional buy one get one free coupons for products sold by the Quincy Point pot shop.
Granted, sales promotions are only to be expected at most any retail business.
At the same time, given reports from locals observers and peeps tied to Quincy Quarry of very little traffick inflicted up on the Fore River Bridge rotary by this pot shop, one has to wonder if perhaps this pot shop is not seeing as much sales traffick as expected from regular passersby who live relatively close to the shore along Route 3A in communities south of Quincy where there is no convenient access to scoring legal marijuana outside of Rockland.
At least not until the Town of Hull completes the process for it to license a local legal pot shop.
After all, what with the business plan of many independent pot shops to eventually sell out to larger operators of pot shops, one has to show decent sales to score a sweet buyout offer.
In turn, how else can one explain four proposals to score recreational pot shop licenses in Quincy if (legal) local pot sales may be need of a bit of sales promotion.
