— Quincy Massachusetts News by Quincy Quarry News – News, Opinion and Commentary
This week’s short run of delightful summer weather was interrupted with all sort of low crimes and various misdemeanors.
Granted, such is nothing new for the Q. Even so, each and every week is still fraught with its own unique assortment of aggravations.
First up, while not of much concern to most Quincy residents, it was a especially rough week for Squantum residents.
How so?
Next up, what would a week in Quincy be without motor vehicle whacking a house?
Not a week in Quincy!
Plus, for a change, this week also included a truck “storrowing” a local office building for a new slant on this long ongoing local public safety risk.
Further, the all too brief respite care of National Taco Day was further undercut when a melee apparently broke out at the Subway® location in the Kan Man Plaza a day later and so resulted in a call for back-up by the first to respond police officers.
Fortunately, on an upbeat note, Quincy Quarry followed with a Quarry story about how another loyal Quincy Quarry reader told a junk caller calling on behalf of Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s reelection campaign that Quincy Quarry News is this Quarry reader’s top sources for news about Quincy.
Not too much going on hopefully next week there will be more exciting things!!
Quincy Quarry is not worried as we’re talking Quincy, regression to the mean happens, etc. For example, expect fireworks when the 2024 property taxes are announced in December.
