Two wounded in knife fight near Quincy convenient store

Wednesday night around 9 pm two individuals were stabbed during a heated altercation between two groups of antagonists in the vicinity of a convenience store at 230 Washington Street in Quincy.

One was found nearby and the other at a nearby residence.

Both were taken to hospitals for non-life-threatinging injuries.

While stabbings are nothing new in the Q, what was news in this instance was that the South Shore broadsheet covered the incident even if it was reprised from coverage by its Boston broadcast news partner’s apparently aping Quincy Quarry News’ Citizen Police Scanner monitoring news reporting technique while the Quarry was focusing on viewing the live streaming of the train wreck that was Wednesday night’s first Republican presidential candidates debate.
