After a couple of weeks of things untoward and worse heating up something fierce in Quincy, this week’s news shifted to a tsunami of coverage of former President Donald J. Trump’s arraignment over how he greased paying hush money to a porn video performer.
The tsunami included live video of former President Trump’s traveling up and down the East Coast to and then from his arraignment in a New York State trial courtroom at a level not seen since the infamous low-speed chase of OJ Simpson twenty-nine years ago.
In turn, as well as as usual, the mainstream media yet again took their eyes off of the ball as well as swallowed bait.
For example, one major network’s reporter allowed legal defense team member attorney Joe Tacopina to rant and rave during a televised interview in such fashion which mirrored his client as well as if pulled during a trial could well result in this attorney found in contempt of court.
That and so much for abiding by President Abraham Lincoln as well as Mark Twain’s purported ritfings on Proverbs 17:28 in advance of trial.
Missed, however, is summarized in the following as regards the defense’s so-called lead argument.
So, basically, if someone kills an FBI agent during a thwarted arrest attempt on federal charges and then fatally runs over someone while fleeing from the scene the fed killer skates on killing the pedestrian. SMH.
