In the wake of Quincy Quarry’s most recent exposé of arguable problematic use, if not also misuse of a City ride, Quincy Quarry was provided with some most curious images of street sweepers in action on two different days.
Specifically, as one can see on the left, this street sweeper had two passengers in perhaps compliance with standing Department of Public Works general policy that a single non-supervisory department employee should not be driving around in a city ride all by that person’s self while on the job.
Then again, perhaps this doubling up was a training session what with spring cleaning of local streets impending while also so clearing things around certain key drains along local streets to prepare for recent major local precipitation storm events.
