– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News with commentary added
Things broke badly so often in the Q this past week that Quincy Quarry News is still is catching up on writing up the news of the week.
In particular, a blue ribbon team of Quincy Quarry personnel are finishing up the Quarry’s story on how Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch and thus also the Chair of the School Committee continues to try to bully local school teachers into accepting a new contract that ultimately works out to their taking a pay cut net of factoring in the impact of inflation over the term of a new contract.
While details will be exposéd as soon as possible, take it as likely gospel that the Mayor and Chair does not appear to realize that teachers are very well-practiced at dealing with bullies.
Very well-practiced.
Granted, while a swirly will all but assured not happen, his serving time in a corner while wearing a pointy hat is only to be expected is only to be expected.
And likely also only but for starters.
In the meanwhile, ponder the exposés that have already hit the fan and which include the following.
For starters, Quincy Quarry exposéd a DPW worker leaving his city ride running, unattended, and its keys in the ignition in a convenience store’s parking lot in a problematic hood along Washington Street while he was out and about.
The Quarry then moved onto traffic hitting the fan on Sea Street for much of a day this week.
Actually, to be more accurate, hit a hole.
And finally for the Quarry’s coverage of this past week published so far about local events was on the “soft” opening of Quincy’s first (legal, ed.) recreational pot shop.
But not to worry, more Quincy Quarry stories about recent events are in the pipeline.
