While this morning featured a glorious and sunny start to the day today, Eastern Massachusetts is looking at finding itself on the edge of massive winter storm event that has already hammered many western states and is about to dump on northern states and then various Middle Atlantic States.
While Quincy will likely only see modest precipitation tonight and again later in the day tomorrow, what is coming is expected to be a snow/sleet/rain mix that will likely then freeze.
Accordingly, Quincy Quarry’s weather team is laying out skates should the ever-increasingly mean and recently also cold streets of Quincy end up hockey rinks.
Conversely, regional news media weather personal are taking full advantage of talking up a likely but bit of inclement weather given what has been an otherwise mostly uneventful New England winter..
In any event, while Quincy Quarry News’ ever growing legions of loyal readers can all but assuredly count on Kim Jung Koch Plaza’s Snow Team Six to be slathering the plaza with salt, one can only assume that other city-employed local snow and ice clearing personnel are instead hoping to score some extra pay to most likely be but on call given what it has so far been all but snow-free winter.
