Quincy Quarry gets results, sorta kinda anyway …
– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
A pothole patched!!!
As reported previously by Quincy Quarry News, the Quarry’s Citizen Pothole Kvetch filed a pothole complaint via the City of Quincy’s Department of Public Works online request for service link.
Also, the Quarry promised its ever-growing legions of loyal readers that it would follow up to see how long it took to see the DPW take care of things.
In turn, a Quarry reporter out and about on the ever-increasingly bumpy of late streets of Quincy found the pothole patched a few days later.
One of those reported anyway.
The other potholes also along Revere Road closer to its intersection with Mechanic Street and which were also noted by the Quarry’s kvetch were not filled.
So what also for the fact the DPW crew surely spilled their cups of Dunkie’s joe when their truck hit the other potholes noted in the kvetch’s kvetch or swerved to miss them.
Needless to say, when the DPW surely trumpets back that the request for serve has been addressed and so completed, the Quarry’s Kvetch will respond that it missed also noted others.

Another sh#t story! It’s almost February: potholes happen; get a life.
Hah! Pig Chops has become a faithful follower of Quincy Quarry.
Have to make sure the Courthouse streets look good for all the media who have been broadcasting from there recently! The City probably thinks this media attention will attract tourists to the Downtown.
John,
Nothing but net from the opposite baseline!
That is a perfect example of Quincy DPW quality. All of Sea St looks like that, even after it was fixed.
Potholes lend a whole new meaning to Pond Street.
