Running with scissors, driving with scissors, stabbing with scissors …

Quincy Quarry News Weekly Fish Wrap: Traffic, trafficking and other troubles return to Quincy after the Holidays.

In the wake of the relative quietude over the recent holidays, things are now steadily returning to the all too typical local levels of disquietude.

For example, a Road Rage stabbing incident last weekend has been added into the running total of a variety of local stabbings in recent months, including a previous alleged Road Rage stabbing in Quincy last September and which also occurred on Quincy Shore Drive.

Quincy’s latest Road Rage stabbing a cat fight?

And for a twist, this stabbing was a purported stabbing of a twenty-two-year-old female by another twenty-two-year-old female.

In other words, this stabbing incident was perhaps also a cat fight.

Actually, there are two twists to this incident as the second one looks to be comparable to an all-female beatdown incident at a Houghs Neck park last October.

Specifically, a minor female was also booked in this latest incident as was the case with the earlier incident.

Further, while both minors were only charged for assault, both  incidents were still eerily similar as both minors were charged with assault with a shod foot.

Beloved original statue, left; imported knock-off, right

Next up, as well as in keeping with Quincy Quarry’s tradition of hard-hitting exposés of the soft-underbelly of the Koch Maladministration, this past week the Quarry unleashed two more jabs.

First up, Quincy Quarry posed the possibility of Quincy’s peerless mayor cheesing off as least some of his Old Quincy base by opting to spend stupid money on a trite imported knock-off of beloved Quincy statues.

Wicked stupid money.

Weymouth’s new copy of the beloved statue of Abigail cast from the original molds

After all, a Quincy homeboy was able to see a part of the beloved statues slightly reworked and then recast into a single new one for relatively short money to then to give to Weymouth so as to honor both Weymouth’s recent 400th birthday as well as homegirl Abigail Adams.

In turn how hard would it have been to cast a duplicate of the but lightly refashioned and beloved original statue?

And as for the other exposé this week, the Quarry published a second one that within it also entailed a twofer.

The twofer?

First up, how the Koch Machine is talking up a well-late in the going as well as so-called plan to address impending traffic congestion arising from the soon to be completed 465 upscale apartments on the former site of Quincy’s no longer in operation as well as also no longer only hospital.

Round and round we go, where we stop nobody knows …

So what if the proposed roundabout, albeit better known as a rotary, will at best not only might not be actually built until many months after the new apartments have tenants as well as that the still tentative construction of it will only add to the traffic congestion while its proposed construction might eventually be underway.

In short, nothing like a little planning by the Koch Maladministration.

In fact, yet again nothing like it all.| quincy news

And for the second part of the twofer so exposéd?

Long not repaired trashed curbing at base of Fore River Bridge
A Quincy Quarry News exclusive file photo

The City of Quincy has all but given up on maintaining an even busier rotary on the Quincy side base of the Fore River Bridge.

Not only is this rotary regularly whacked by reckless, if not also impaired drivers, the traffic along this run of Washington Street will surely be facing additional traffic congestion when an all but finally approved legal pot shop fronting the rotary opens up to the public for trafficking.

In short, as well as yet again, “Only in the Q.”
