– News involving Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
After last week’s Thanksgiving Day events, peace and goodwill then soon enough went on a holiday.
First up, Quincy Quarry News picked up word of a knife attack on Saturday night that was connected to the largest restaurant care of the Quarry’s police scanner monitor.
The Quarry’s police scanner monitor then picked up on yet another pedestrian striking near police headquarters.
Not that there was any public announcement of this latest pedestrian striking.
Fortunately, there were some just desserts.
For starters, from Boston came word that the convicted of serious felonies former Mayor of Fall River saw his appeals of his fraud and corruption convictions rejected by a panel of three federal appellate court justices.
As such, barring an extremely improbable taking up of a further appeal by the United States Supreme Court, Jasiel Corriea II is looking to continue his extended stay at Club Fed Berlin New Hampshire until his sentence is completed by April of 2028 or perhaps a bit sooner given credit for good behavior.
In meanwhile, one would like to hope that Correia’s confinement might provide some deterrence to other such elected grifters.
Some good news notwithstanding, things then headed back to the dark side.
Someone with ties to Quincy as well as is known to local police appears to have committed a double homicide in Marshfield.
Even worse, at last report the suspect is still at large as well as should be considered to be armed and dangerous.
As for what will next happen, who only knows other than that the ever-growing legions off loyal Quincy Quarry readers know to not be all surprised by whatever next hits the Q.
