Quincy Quarry News Weekly Fish Wrap: Talk about a rough week, including rough talk.
For example, Cybersecurity month wrapped up earlier this week.
Not that the City of Quincy does much, if anything, to duly tighten up its online presence.
Moving along, Quincy Quarry News featured not just one, but two landscaping exposés this past week.
The first: Quarry Quarry exposed how established as well as expensive permanent plantings in the largest landscaping bed within Kim Joch Plaza were inexplicably ripped out and then replaced with cheap seasonal annual flowering plants.
What the Q?
And then for this week’s e-weekly double, how yet again it would appear that the City of Quincy continues to traffick in serial tree killings.
Then on a bright note for a rare change, the head of the MBTA tendered his well-warranted resignation, albeit not effective until after the first of the year.
After all, given the date of his departure, one cannot help but wonder if will so perhaps so score himself an additional year to his years of working at government jobs in Massachusetts as regards the calculating his potential pension as well as other possible post employment benefits and other such perks.
Still no word about the same or something similar happening with Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch as regards his day job as mayor as well as his role as the senior member of the MBTA Board of Directors and his decade-long Chair of the MBTA Advisory Board.
Needless to say, if anyone should go, Tommy “Spend and Tax” should be at least near the top of the list.
Speaking of going, Quincy Quarry News rolled out its latest exposé of yet another round of tree killing by parties tied to the City of Quincy.
And finally, what would a week in Quincy be without a racial abuse case?
Certainty not Quincy.

Is Koch #corruption or an #incompetent licensee preventing Quincy Cannabis Company from opening? Very strange the rec pot shops are opening all over the state – except in Quincy.
Rocketman,
Thiink a couple of pounds of one versus a kilo of another.
I hope Quincy Cannabis goes under before it opens! F Tommy!
Grrrrrr, that cyber heist!
Have any criminal or civil cases been filed yet?
Why is the mayor gagging city officials?
How will the lost money be replaced?
What is really going on?
We deserve answers, but Kock thinks we can’t handle the truth!
Fiona,
More likely that Quincy’s peerless mayor doesn’t want us to know the truth.
