Words said on the street indicate that the stabbing on Thursday afternoon was fueled by road rage.
Additionally, the perpetrator fled the scene in his ride but no word if anyone made his ride’s license plate number.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to recover.
The scene of this violent incident was near Quincy Catholic Academy elementary school in the general vicinity of Pierce and Hancock Streets.
While police said that students at the school were never at risk, it still must be noted that Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s residence is but a couple of short blocks away from the scene of this latest local knife attack.
Mayor Koch’s home is also not all that much farther away from the September 3 knifing incident at the North Quincy McDonald’s restaurant.

F*ck the kids; was Mayor Koch ever at risk?
The Q was rated by some organization as one of the best communities to live in.
That’s kind of like believing in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.
For renters, it is one of the best communities to live in.
Great place to live until you get stabbed!
It is time for our Mayor to have a 24/7 police detail?
They need a recreational cannabis shop in North Quincy to calm things down there.
The city needs to purchase some land in North Quincy to build a much-needed North Quincy Police Station.
I remember the Police sub-station in Quincy Center. It was never open, the door was always locked.
That is because it was a storefront with big windows and the public could so see in and thus witness lazy cops laying low.
I’m talking a real police station! A big one! A costly one! The higher the price tag, the better.
The additional space will allow Koch and Keenan to hire even more brave family members onto the police force to man a second station in North Quincy.
Surely more Kochs and Keenans on the police force alone will intimidate hardened criminals!
Plus, it is time for Koch and Keened to export our high crime rates to Milton!
Mayor Koch is genuinely a man of the people. Many lifelong Quincy residents have moved out of the city; however, our mayor continues to reside in one of the most dangerous parts of our city.
