Quincy Quarry News Weekly Fish Wrap: Stop the presses – Mayor Koch caught out on a walk that was not a parade!
Will wonders never cease?
Quincy’s Mayor Thomas P. Koch not exactly known for getting out and about mayor other than at highly staged as well as usually carefully-scripted settings was caught out on a (short, ed.) walking tour of mostly but North Quincy hosted by the Asia Business Empowerment Council.
The Asian Business Empowerment Council was especially savvy as it set out the most enticing of bait: restaurant stops along the route of the walk.
After all, the mayor is far better know for walking about leading local parades and so vicariously living one of his long suspected latent dreams to be a marching band drum major.
That and the rest of the time he is often to be found traveling about in his likely overcompensating outsized as well as gas-guzzling and so adding to climate change rides.
Then again, ease of passenger egress is a legitimate consideration.
That and how passenger capacity loads should be abided.
Speaking of driving, a study ranked Utah drivers were named the confrontational in the nation whereas Massholes came in at fifteen and New Yorkers at an even harder to believe forty-six.
Needless to say, the study surely has at least “some” methodological problems.
That and at the same time surely so provides clues as to how the Koch Maladministration keeps finding surveys from random nondescript sources that pretty much tout that Quincy is Heaven on Earth.
That or at least the best thing since the invention of sliced bread or at least locally when what become Dunkin’ Donuts® opened its doors on Southern Artery seventy-four years ago.
Then again, the ever-growing legions of Quincy Quarry News know all too well is that shoveling bovine by-product ever-higher and deeper is a most annoying a long-ongoing practice inflicted by the denizens of Quincy’s inexplicable two city halls.
Then again, such in turns fertilizes a bountiful as well as endless cornucopia of amusement.
And finally, locals can only properly find it a positive outcome that a bomb threat at Quincy High School this week turned out to be a bust.
