A Wareham cow leads local police on a slow wild goose chase while the cow is out and about enjoying the unofficial start of summer.
Quincy Quarry’s media brethren at Boston 25 appear to have scooped regional media with its coverage of a cow on the loose in Wareham that has been leading local police around town on slow rides.
Reportedly very slow rides.
Wicked slow rides.

Needless to say, it is still only fair to note that this holiday-shortened week which is the unofficial start of the summer is one of the slowest weeks of the year to score a story and thus Boston 25 was on it like flies on a fresh cow pie.
Even so, there were some problems with the reporting by Boston 25’s city slickers. For example, they referred to Rosie the Cow as a “he”.
Not only is Rosie a female name, but also that cow is the name for a single female head of cattle
In any event, Rosie is the latest in a long line of farm animals to take advantage of an open barn door.
“There’s a goat,” the Lowell police officer continued, “with horns, with a rope around his neck, in the middle of Lawrence Street.”
“I’m sorry,” the dispatcher responded. “Did you say, ‘A goat?’ A goat like, ‘Bah.'” https://t.co/sktEGa2TJw— The Lowell Sun (@LowellSun) February 15, 2020

No cow in Quincy — just the manure. It seems to be the thickest around City Hall btw.
