– News about the weather from Quincy Quarry News
Snow piles returning to Quincy even if well-cleared roads probably not so much.
As Quincy Quarry News has for a time opined, other area media are now upping their forecasts for tomorrow’s snowstorm towards the Quarry’s now looking to be prescient expectations.
At the same time, it must be noted that Quincy Quarry’s media brethren at the Universal Hub moved up towards the Quarry’s expectations sooner than have other area media.
The key problem for locals is that the expected rain/snow/mix line has headed south.

Even worse, the storm is looking to be slightly stronger than expected.
Accordingly, even if the local snowfall depth might be somewhat moderated given Quincy’s proximity to the relative warmth of ocean waters, the snow that does fall will likely be wetter and thus heavier snow.
Additionally problematic, this latest snowstorm will then be followed by a hard freeze lasting until well into next week.
Most problematic of all, however, it the fact that the City of Quincy is yet again slow on the draw.

So did the piles completely disappear?
Fred,
You will be pleased to know that Quincy Quarry’s Photo Recon Team Six is scheduled to conduct a drive by shooting late this afternoon.
