Massachusetts town board asks FBI corruption unit to investigate its police department.
In a move that is likely to be tightening at least some shorts in Quincy, during a Monday night meeting earlier this week the Boxborough Select Board voted to pay the FBI’s Public Corruption Unit to review purported problems with what some Boxborough police officers have been paid.
In fact, one select board member noted that it might be better to investigate the entire town staff’s payroll system instead of just focusing on the police department as this board member has noticed concerns with the payroll in other departments in the past.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry will continue to follow the money whenever it is alleged that taxpayers’ money is alleged to have been paid out to those when undeserving of same.

All bets are off — OFF — that the Quincy City Council would even entertain the idea of such action.
But if anyone would care to bet that they would, I’d have to take the bet. No chance of losing and a good laugh. Can’t beat that!
Louie,
There is something to be said for going with a wicked long odds flyer — a lot of vicarious fun for short money, etc.
Additionally, take a quick look at the campaign donation overlaps with the mayor and certain councillors. Trust me, Stumpy won’t go down alone when right people start following the money.
