Former Fall River Mayor Jasiel F. Correia II convicted of defrauding investors and extorting marijuana vendors.
As expected, former Fall RIver Mayor Correia was found guilty on 21 counts ranging from conspiracy to extortion as well as various frauds.
In turn, Correia now faces as long as twenty years in prison when he is currently scheduled to be sentenced on September 20, 2021.
Unclear, however, is if certain other mayors and public officials will take notice given their won cash and carry policies.
On the other hand, Quincy Quarry would prefer that they do not give the amount of coverage the Quarry provides on such trafficking.
