No April fooling around: the Boston Red Sox’s home opener rained out.
Unclear, however, is how many are really excited this season.
For starters, ballpark attendance is currently limited to 12% as well as that the prices for what tickets are available have yet again increased, not to mention also the outrageous prices for but light beer and an all too often less than hot Fenway frank, at what has long been by far the most expensive place to catch a Major League Baseball game.

Plus, even if a lot of baseball fans are surely jonesing to catch a game, given that the Sox are expected to yet again suck this year after trading away Mookie Betts to the Los Dodgers last year and the Dodgers then won last year’s should be asterisked World Series, fan support for the Sox this season is likely to also suck.
After all, Boston’s notoriously fickle fans are, well, fickle.
Even so, if the glove fits, you cannot acquit.
