Latest Snow Jobs Exposéd Part 2: New Rides and Old Rides.
While the snow has been flying lightly at most, Quincy Quarry has still been out and about and so happening onto this and that as well as coming to a few new epiphanies.
For example, while sidewalks cleared by City of Quincy mini plows are typically tired old snowplows, Snow Team Six which is tasked to keep Kim Jong Koch Plaza in front of City Hall thoroughly ploughed from curb to curb and down to the pavement have not one, but rather two near new Kubota mini-tractors.
Additionally, while the old plows tasked with clearing sidewalks out and about the Q are basic at best, Snow Team Six’s sweet near-new rides have exclusive access to all sorts of labor-saving attachments ranging from two different sizes of snowplows, a salt spreader, and even a rotating circular snow brush.
Then again, keeping Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s pavement cleared of snow is only to be expected as nothing is too good for Mayor Koch, especially if tax dollars are paying for it.
Nothing whatsoever.
That and how such is the current Quincy Way regardless of the City of Quincy’s current shaky at best financial well-being and which is looking likely to only get worse..
