City Hall Dumps on the Church of the Presidents.
In what can only be viewed as a grave slight to the burial place of the Presidents Adams and their respective First Ladies as well as one of Quincy’s most historic churches, City of Quincy workers opted to pile up snow in front of the entrance of the United First Parish Church – better known as The Church of the Presidents.
As Quincy Quarry readers can clearly see, the Church of the Presidents was snow-blocked.
This diss was done in a way that all too many local homeowners are all too familiar with suffering: the way that mosly city contracted snowplows wall off residents’ driveways as well as all but invariably after homeowners have shoveled out their driveways.
The apparent reason: so that Kim Jong Koch Plaza could be widely cleared down to the pavement before dawn’s early light this morning while still amidst a winter snowstorm emergency.
That and how at least one of the City of Quincy’s inexplicable two temporary cut Christmas trees apparently warrants full deference whereas none whatsoever is due for the two Quincy natives who become Presidents of the United States or the church wherein they have been laid to rest
I lost a boot and possibly a couple of toes trying to get into the church today! Thank you to the stranger who gave me her scarf.
Must be waiting for the weekend to remove it on an overtime pay basis.
CJM: Or at least per the second and third shift pay differential as well as probably per an overtime basis.
