Quincy’s COVID-19 weekly risk rating update unchanged from last week.

After weeks of steadily moving towards a Red Zone COVID-19 risk rating, for a change this week’s risk update for Quincy is unchanged from last week.

While but a hunch, one cannot help but wonder if the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s moving of its release of its weekly COVID-19 risk update from Wednesdays to Thursdays starting this week might have lead to some data update errata as regards Quincy’s otherwise inexplicable unchanged risk rate, rating, Quincy Quarry was unable to investigate same in time to meet today’s publication deadline.

Then again, perhaps the unchanged risk factor was but a matter of a variation on the two steps forward, one backwards phenomena.

Regardless, Quincy continues to not only remain within easy striving distance of crossing into Red Zone risk status, Quincy Quarry’s opining of doing so by around Halloween or thereabout remains operation.

In any event, count on Quincy Quarry News to continue to monitor the situation and report on it as might be warranted.
