Storm brings both needed rain and unneeded damage.
While even more rain is needed and at least some more is forecast for later this week, storm damage happened overnight given wind damage and even more bursts of wind gusts are to be expected to continue through at least midday today.
Downed trees have struck buildings, blocked roads, taken down power lines, and even taken out a one-holer at the fourteenth hole at the venerable William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park in Boston.
