Kim Jong Koch Plaza fountain is not a splash pad – honest.

Apparently the local officials behind this particular Edifice Complex among the many such public erections that have arisen during the Koch Maladministration at taxpayers’ expense failed to appreciate that Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s homage to the Dancing Waters at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel would prove enticing to those seeking relief from a hot summer day.

One would think that on a reported thirty-five million dollar taxpayer-funded project – and with millions more planned to be spent on even more over the top landscaping to follow  – that someone would have duly addressed how to forestall passersby from using the fountain as a splash pad than signage based upon an old motor vehicle wheel.

Then again, Quincy Quarry has long been aware of the fact that the two other fountains along Kim Jong Kocn Plaza have long been waded into by those fishing for change to buy a 40 and thus this latest shortcoming of the Koch Machine was thus ultimately only to be expected.
