President Trump did not respond to Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet after she rose to his bait like a trout to the first spring hatch of mayflies.

Rookie United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez swings for the fences via her pitch to release her transcripts in a bet after Trump calls her a “poor student.”
In short, dueling tweets continue to litter the long déclassé – if not also debased – venue that is social media.
That and how this latest round of little more than schoolyard taunts between the pugnacious products of a couple of New York City boroughs is ultimately but a bladder voiding contest which most reasonable people will likely view as childish even if both are playing to the childishness of their respective fan bases.
Let’s make a deal, Mr. President:
You release your college transcript, I’ll release mine, and we’ll see who was the better student.
Loser has to fund the Post Office. https://t.co/OXnmJxufIw

In this instance, while Quincy Quarry has little doubt that President was not a hard working student striving for summa cum laude honors, it is still a fool’s errand to propose that it is actually possible to compare grades assigned at an Ivy League school in the late 1960’s with ones somewhat recently assigned at a second tier university that could now be facing financial ruin.
That and Quarry Quarry is well aware of the myriad of ways one can game one’s golf scores.
Even so, one must keep in mind that for all of the talk of George W. Bush being a dolt that was often foisted by those who backed Al Gore’s subsequently failed 2000 presidential bid, college transcripts released in response to the allegations indicate that W consistently had better college grades whereas Al was conversely, well, an academic disappointment.
That and how one must remember that Al Gore’s claim of inventing the Internet is rated as a Hall of Shame Four Pinocchio whopper.
That and which Al has since been less than successfully trying to walk back from ever since.
In other words, be wary of posing an impulsive bet in a New York nanosecond so as to endeavor to score some quick prime time news cycle time without first doing a little homework on the odds before laying down a bet.
That and while perhaps also oblivious to the fact that oppo happens as well as has already all but assuredly already been collected on her.
And finally, while admittedly raw red meat to one’s fans notwithstanding, posing a bravado bet that relies on using other people’s tax payments instead of one’s own chips is only further asking for trouble later – see again Al Gore.
