Quincy Shore Drive hit with a broken water main during morning commute.

While details are still scarce as official city mouthpieces work bankers’ hours as well as that Quincy Quarry had to recycle old file photos for this story, what is known is that a water main broke overnight on Quincy Shore Drive and apparently so reduced this busy roadway to but one lane of traffic during at least the morning commute. 

Needless to say, WAZE is directing commuters from south of Quincy to other streets so that the commute traffic can finds its own level as is the water flowing out of the broken water main.

The good news/bad news, with many of those still working working remotely given the COVID-19 pandemic, the traffic back-up is not as bad as it might have otherwise been.
